The ‘Jellyfish Nebula‘, officially cataloged as IC 443, is located near the bright star Eta Geminorum and is the expansion of debris resulting from the explosion of a massive star, whose light reached Earth over 30,000 years ago.
This nebula stands out not only for its beauty but also for its vastness. At about 5,000 light-years away, if the image displayed its entire extent, it would represent a window of 140 light-years across the vast Universe.
